  • I served on the Public Relations Committee for the 98th AFM Convention in Las Vegas. (June 2010)
     
  • The working relationship between the Dayton Musicians Association and the Players Committee of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra has been lauded by AFM Negotiators and International Representatives as a model for other local offices and orchestra musician representatives to follow.

  • The Dayton Musicians Association and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra musicians hosted the 2009 Regional Orchestra Players Association (ROPA) Conference in Dayton, Ohio. (25th Anniversary)

  • The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Players Committee and Local 101-473 Officers were on the cover (and were the subjects of the feature article) of the International Musician. (August 2007)

  • Youth Member Saxophonist Tyrone Martin was presented the 2007 AFM Youth Diversity Award at the 97th AFM National Convention in Las Vegas.
